The Ballot is live!
TheBallot.org is our in-house created social voter guide website. We have built it to be a critical resource for all voters to go to the polls informed and motivated.
You can use it to look up a copy of your ballot before election day, and create voter guides to share with your friends.
We’re rebuilding our site for 2014. Check out
Vote411.org for up-to-date election information in the meantime.
The key contests we’re watching on November 5th, 2013:
Terry McAuliffe vs. Ken Cuccinelli for Governor of Virginia
Chris Christie vs. Barbara Buono for Governor of New Jersey
Ballot Measures in Colorado, Missouri, Montana and more
What race has you hot and bothered this off-off-year? Let us know!
What’s next for TheBallot.org in 2013?
Do you think we could convince Ryan Gosling to vote for TheBallot.org?
We just got word that someone nominated
for Most Valuable Technology for New Organizing Institute’s RootsCamp. In order to actually win, we have to get votes. TheBallot.org
So, if you dug TheBallot.org, show
some love here.
Separately, if you want to join the meme-a-palooza to get people to vote for Most Valuable Technology,
make your own here by voting, submitting a comment, and creating your own badge. (hint: type Hey Girl in your comment to make a Ryan Gos-meme)
We’ll be posting Thanksgiving-related memes about it throughout the week as you slowly slip into your tryptophan-induced coma, so stay tuned!
TheBallot brings 145,000 people together to talk politics.
Social Voter Guides for the win! 145,000 people used TheBallot.org this election season, and we scraped right up against 50,000 Election Day users alone. DAMN.
Oh, and this happened:
Ever wonder how C-3PO would use
www.TheBallot.org to vote on down-ballot races? We did too. Enjoy ~
Leave your mark on the future, son!
